Three supermarkets within the Suva and Nasinu areas are closed today.

There is no confirmation as yet as to why the two supermarkets in Makoi, Hansons and Shop and Save and Extra Supermarket in Suva, are closed.

FBC News has spoken to the owners of Shop and Save, who say they were told by Police to shut down and the Health Ministry will give further details.

We have sent questions to the Health Ministry.

Police have told us that they are working with the Health Ministry and all other details are with the health officials.
