LTA Chief Executive, Samuel Simpson, says this is why they are urging drivers to always be wary of their surroundings, especially in areas where there would be a lot of vehicles and pedestrians.

Simpson stresses that it is important for drivers to maintain their focus on driving adding that a single lapse in concentration could become catastrophic.
