A woman from Naiyalayala Settlement in Tovata, Nasinu was arrested after substances confirmed to be marijuana were found in her possession.

The raid was conducted last Friday after information was received about the accused’s alleged illegal activities.

The search resulted in the discovery of a peanut butter container containing 80 sachets of dried leaves and parcels of loose dried leaves inside a bag.

The 33-year-old accused will be produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
