38-year-old Josevata Werelagi told the Suva High Court this afternoon that he never forced the complainant in his case into prostitution.

He also denied transporting her to Suva, receiving null money from her and telling her to dress in clothes that attract men.

He faces one count of aggravated sexual servitude and three counts of domestic trafficking of children.

It is alleged that in July 2015, Werelagi threatened or forced a 15-year-old girl into sexual servitude.

In cross-examination, the accused informed the court some of the answers to questions in the police report were not his answers

When asked if he is was lying to the High Court, the 38-year-old said he was not lying about anything and again insisted he did not give some of the answers written in the police report.

The trial continues tomorrow.
