A Sigatoka man charged with one count of assault will be appearing at the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon.

It’s alleged the villager assaulted his cousin over the weekend after a heated argument erupted between the two of them.

The man is in custody and will be escorted by Police to Nadi to face court.
