Jone Vakarisi

The hearing date for 29-year-old Jone Vakarisi has been set for next month.

Vakarisi is charged with one count each of act with intent to cause grievous harm, criminal trespass, damaging property, and criminal intimidation.

He allegedly hit Ilaitia Fifita and Marika Rabele during a brawl in their neighborhood in Nabua last October.

His hearing will be on the 12th and the 13th of next month.

Magistrate Deepika Prakash has extended the production order and has further remanded Vakarisi.

The trial proper for other charges will be held on the 17th and 18th of April.
