Unity Fiji Party also file petition on the General Election

Unity Fiji Party General Secretary, Satish Kumar outside the Suva High Court

Political Party, Unity Fiji has filed a case for legal redress challenging the outcome of the 2018 general election.

Party General Secretary, Satish Kumar and party member Liga Guikisuva are currently outside the Suva High Court awaiting the mention of their petition which names the Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem and some of the FijiFirst members who have been elected and are in parliament.

The case is expected to be called at the Court of Disputed Returns this afternoon.

Currently the court is hearing the case filed by the Social Democratic Liberal Party and the National Federation Party who are also challenging the 2018 election results.
