Ten witnesses will be giving evidence in the case of Pastor Waisake Tulavu charged with rape.

Tulavu is charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

The trial will begin on October 1st, lasting two weeks.

The court also heard that the accused will also take stand while defense will be calling five witnesses.

Tulavu allegedly raped three church members aged 22, 29 and 32 in Nasinu last year.

Tulavu has been further remanded.
