A Labasa school teacher has pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and four counts of rape.

The teacher appeared at the Labasa High Court today where he entered his plea.

It’s alleged that the incidents happened on the 13th of October last year in Labasa.

The complainant was his wife.

The case has been adjourned to the 21st of June for a pre-trial conference.

His bail has been further extended.
