The man who is alleged to have robbed a foreign national in Raiwaqa, Suva appeared in the Suva High Court yesterday.

Pauliasi Tukana is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

It is alleged that on July 29th last year, Tukana allegedly robbed a man of bottles of perfume, shoes and a battery operated cigarette.

In court yesterday, the  defense counsel said it is not challenging the caution interview and  not relying on fabrication.

Defense also sought time in relation to the information filed.

Tukana has pleaded not guilty to the offence and his bail has been extended.

The matter will be recalled on April 29th for pre-trial conference.
