The Suva high court today warned a State lawyer to file information on two senior church executives facing rape charges.

46-year-old pastor Waisake Tulavu and 50-year-old senior church pastor Sakiusa Nakutoro allegedly raped three church members aged 22, 29 and 32 in Nasinu last year.

Judge Justice Daniel Goundar has given the state lawyer 21 days to file their information or else all the files will be dismissed.

The state informed the court they have filed their disclosures however, requested more time to file their information.

Tulavu is charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault and is in remand.

Nakutoro is charged with one count of rape and is on bail.

The matter has been adjourned to 29th April for a plea.
