Supporters of both National Federation Party and SODELPA created a scene outside the Suva High Court this morning.

They were disappointed of not being allowed inside the court room.

Police Officers increased their surveillance in front of the court room as party supporters were engaging officers with comments of no transparency as they were not allowed in.

Opposition and SODELPA MP Mere Samisoni says it was unfortunate that they were not allowed to witness what transpired in the court room.

“You know this is public service, justice is public service so that there should be enough room for the public to come and hear, the public is paying tax payers money to come and listen to the justice system and democratic system.”

FBC News understands that given the capacity of the court room, it can only accommodate the petitioners and all the respondents and all the media representatives that covered the case.

According to Police the court room was closed as only a certain number of people can be accommodated in the court room.
