A renowned Fiji 7’s player is in police custody for allegedly raping a woman.

It’s believed the alleged incident happened yesterday in Olosara Sigatoka.

Police have confirmed the incident saying the victim is a 24-year-old woman.

Police say he later surrendered himself at the Sigatoka Police Station.
