After examination, the Health Center officials found out that the child was sexually assaulted and the matter was given to the Social Welfare Department.

It was alleged the child was sexually assaulted by her mother.

During the course of the case, the Social Welfare Department through the Family Court obtained an order for the three-year-old to be kept at Saint Christopher’s Home.

However, on February 12th, the Department obtained a permanent order for the victim to remain in the Home until she is 18-years-old.
