The 30-year-old driver involved in an accident on Fletcher Road in Suva that led to the death of a 55-year-old woman from Namara, Salima in Kadavu has been charged.

Police have confirmed that the driver has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and two counts of dangerous driving.

It is alleged that suspect was heading towards Nasese in Suva when he failed to negotiate a bend and as a result the vehicle veered off the road and landed in the drain.
