Man charged for raping wife further remanded

A man who allegedly raped his wife in March this year has been further remanded.

He appeared before Suva High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo this morning.

He is charged with one count of rape and one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

The court heard that the alleged incident happened in a village in Namosi.

The case will be recalled on the 29th of this month.
