A man in his 30’s will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court for allegedly attacking two police officers.

The incident happened at the Wailoaloa Beach in Nadi on Wednesday.

The accused was arrested with a juvenile at Solevu on Malolo Island by a team of officers who were deployed following the attack.

The accused has been charged with two counts of serious assault and one count of recklessness and negligence.

The juvenile has been interviewed and released.

Police says illicit drugs were also seized by the arresting team.

The investigation in relation to the alleged drug find continues.
