Former Suva Lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef facing drug-related charges applied for fresh bail in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.

Lateef is charged with charged with one count of being in possession of illicit drugs and breach of bail conditions.

This is the 3rd time he has applied for bail.

It is alleged that on  August 14 this year, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

He is also alleged to have breached his bail conditions.

The state sought time to file a bail response.

The bail matter will be called on 23^rd October
