The trial date for a twenty-nine-year-old, Jone Vakarisi who faces multiple offenses has been set.

Vakarisi is charged with one count each of acts with intent to cause grievous harm, criminal trespass, damaging property, acts intended to cause grievous harm, and criminal intimidation.

The magistrate told the two counsels that since the accused was in remand – there is no excuse for further delays in this matter.

The case will be recalled on the 23rd of this month for a pre-trial conference.

Vakarisi has been further remanded with this trial proper scheduled for the 17th and 18th of April.
