24-year-old Joeli Damudamu, 26-year-old Makeretea Tunasiga, 20-year-old Siteri Dinawai, and 43-year-old Ruci Silita have all been charged with one count of disobedience of lawful order and one count each of serious assault.

The Prosecution strongly objected to the accused’s bail on the grounds that it is a serious offense, as an officer was injured and some of the accused had pending cases in court.

The case will be recalled in the Nausori Magistrates Court at 9am on Friday.
