Five more front court for alleged importation of illicit drugs

Five more people charged with the importation of illicit drugs were presented before the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Ali Hassan, Visek Roshal Sharma, Francis Sangeeta Devi, Zahran Ali and Nilesh Vikash Prasad have been charged with one count each of the importation of illicit drugs.

It is alleged that the five between 5th and 21st August, in Suva without lawful authority imported 222.68 grams of Illicit Drugs namely Methamphetamine.

The five have been released on bail.

The case will be recalled on October 23rd for mention.
