Through his company TF Jan Ltd, Mohammed paid $110,000 in bribes and was able to lodge false invoices and circumvent procedures to obtain over $3.1 million from the Fiji Roads Authority.

He had earlier told the court that he had only one year left his non-parole period and the legal advice given to him was to withdraw his appeal application.

The Court of Appeal this morning granted leave for the withdrawal.
