Two men who pleaded guilty of one count each of aggravated robbery have been sentenced to 13 years imprisonment.

23-year-old Pita Domoni and 25-year-old Malakai Toka were sentenced by the Suva High Court yesterday.

The duo entered a house in Samabula which belongs to a 60-year-old woman and stole cash and assorted items valued at over $13, 000.

The incident happened in December, 2016.

While sentencing the two, High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo says the duo were masked and robbed a lady who was vulnerable.

Temo says the court denounces such act.

The two have a non-parole period of 12 years.
