Driver charged for Brown Street accident bailed

The man accused of causing the death of a 19-year-old student in Suva has been bailed by the Suva Magistrates Court.
26-year-old, Josefa Niurua has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night along Brown Street in Suva.
The accused who was driving towards Suva allegedly hit the victim at the pedestrian crossing near the FNU Hoodless House.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at the CWM Hospital.
Niurua has been released on a $1,000 cash bail bond and has been advised not to re-offend.
The matter will be recalled on July 2nd.
