May 13, 2019 12:57 pm
The Suva High Court will this afternoon give a ruling on which lawyer will represent the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha and its executive members in court.
A court order was issued to the executive council last month not to hold the national executive council election until further notice.
The court order was issued after Vijendra Prakash who is the current secretary-general and a Member of Parliament was not allowed to contest the election.
However, when the case was called in court today, the Sabha was represented by Sidharth Nadan, while its executives had Tirath Sharma as their counsel.
Kunal Singh, the lawyer representing Vijendra Prakash told the court that his client is not only taking action against the council but the entire Sanatan Sabha.
The ruling will be delivered at 4pm.
