Suva Lawyer, Shazran Abdul Lateef who has been in remand for the last nine days appeared in the Suva Magistrates court this morning.

Lateef who is already facing drug-related charges is now charged with two counts of theft.

He appeared in court this morning but his lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo was not present.

It is alleged Lateef stole mobile phones between last December and January.

The alleged stolen items were discovered during a recent raid.

The Matter will now be called at 12 pm.
