A woman who was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law last year today testified before the High Court that the man had forced her to do sexual acts on him.

The man charged is a dentist and a former provisional candidate of the National Federation Party and faces rape and sexual assault charges.

The alleged incident took place in Nasinu in June last year.

The 54-year-old woman also told the court that the 66-year-old accused had allegedly threatened to kill her and forced her to get on top of him and do a sexual act on him.

The woman also said that she was feeling uneasy and was crying during the incident.

She said the accused then pushed her away when she told him that she was having a knee pain but continued to sexually assault her.

The trial continues.
