Bail ruling for Justin Ho to be heard later this month

The bail ruling for alleged airline drug smuggler Justin Ho will now be called later this month.

Yesterday afternoon both the Defence and the DPP made oral submissions before Lautoka High Court Judge Justice Rangajeeva Wimala­sena.

The High Court Judge has adjourned the ruling for the 16th of this month.

Ho is charged with one count of unlawful importation and exportation.

He’s also facing one count of Unlawful possession, manufacture, cultivation, and supply contrary to Section 5(b) of the Illicit Drugs Control Act 2004.

Ho is alleged to have without lawful authority facilitated in exporting two parcels weighing more than 2kg of cocaine and illicit drugs on December 23rd, last year.

It’s also alleged on the same day, the 28-year-old along with an accomplice engaged in the dealing for the transfer, transport, supply, use, manufacture, and sale of cocaine and illicit drugs.
