He was allegedly found in possession with seven small clear plastic bags containing white crystals which were later tested positive as methamphetamine.

He’s alleged to have in his possession 0.63 grams of methamphetamine.

The court was made known that he had a previous conviction in 2015 with similar charges.

The prosecution objected to bail however, it was overruled by Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa.

The accused has been granted bail with two sureties on the sum of $300.

Kumar has been told to report to the Samabula Police station every first Saturday of each month.

He has been instructed not to re-offend and advised to seek legal aid assistance.

Magistrate Boseiwaqa reminded his sureties to ensure he follows his bail conditions as he has committed similar offences in the past.

He will re-appear on May 27th.
