Jekope Naimawi Rokovuki

The state lawyer in a murder case today informed the court that they are still waiting for post mortem report of the deceased.

The deceased is alleged to have been murdered in January this year.

30-year-old Jekope Naimawi Rokovuki allegedly murdered his 35-year-old wife in Kalabu Nasinu on January 10th this year.

He is charged with one count of murder.

Rokovuki was produced in the Suva High court today.

The state lawyer says they are still waiting for post mortem report to finalize the charges and also requested time to file information and disclosures.

Rokovuki is expected to take his plea on the 10th of next month.
