Prosecution has sought 21 days’ time to file information and disclosures in a relation to a case involving two men facing murder charges.
Apisai Lomani and Leone Naisake are alleged to have caused the death of Filipe Loloma in Wailialia Farm in Kadavu.
The incident happened on Boxing Day where the duo are alleged to have engaged in reckless conduct resulting in the death of Loloma.
In court today, Defense counsel alluded that Apisai Lomani’s wife is related to Judge Justice Salesi Temo.
In response Judge Justice Daniel Goundar says the case will be called before him until Judge Temo comes back.
Justice Goundar says that he will let Justice Temo decide whether he will hear the case or not.
The two have been further remanded.
The case will be recalled on February 26th.
