The trial of a twenty-year-old man alleged to have been involved in the murder of a man at the Suva Foreshore will begin in February next year.
Saula Temo faces one count of murder.
Defense says during the trial they will argue the issue of their client not being given his constitutional right when he was arrested.
The prosecution stated that proper rights were given and they will be relying on the caution interview.
It is alleged that on May 17th, last year Temo hit 23-year-old Akuila Salavuki at the FDB foreshore with a piece of timber that caused his death.
The deceased was found lying in a pool of blood by two men the next day.
The two-week trial will begin on February 17th.
The case will be recalled on 11th October for a pre-trial conference.
