The 11 men of Colo-i-Suva who were taken in for questioning over the weekend have been charged with criminal trespassing.

This was confirmed to FBC News by their lawyer Niko Nawaikula.

It’s alleged the men were protesting and were seen live on social media threatening to cut off the water supply for people living in Suva.

The men were arrested by Police at the Savura dam in Colo-i-Suva.

Nawaikula says the men are currently in Police custody and expected to appear at the Suva Magistrates court today.
