Court order against PBS

The Commerce Commission is waiting for a court order on applications filed against Pacific Broadcasting Services.

The Commission CEO Bobby Maharaj claims PBS has broken the law in failing to respond formally to information requested by the Commission and having taken payments in advance with no service provided.

What we are saying in this case, some of the customers of PBS let’s say have paid subscriptions for a year and PBS has failed to provide services to these customers.

PBS closed down last week and all their channels are now off air.
