Correct information is vital for applicants who wish to apply for a land and housing package under the Ministry of Housing.
Permanent Secretary, Joshua Wycliffe says it’s crucial to get help from financial institutions that are willing to help to ensure that every figure is correct.
“Housing Authority or banks, please sit with them and ask them for help because any mistakes the forms get returned to, because we are talking about public money and we got to be transparent, we got to be correct, in the way we verify it.”
Wycliffe says the ministry has a unit to verify all applications through the First Home Buyer Grant Policy and will only process applications with the right information.
The ministry has so far received 70 applications out of which 61 has been approved.
