The tournament has been moved to next year as the usual venue at Lawaqa Park undergoes renovations.

“So all of those clubs have performed in the Coral Coast 7s over the past three years and that’s why they have won the right to a host a qualifying tournament. It’s a real champion of champions approach to the Coral Coast 7s and we know that come January, it will be the best of the best here to compete for the prize money.”

Police won the title last year after defeating Daveta in the Cup final.

The Bayleys Coral Coast 7s will have a lucrative first prize of $30,000 and will be held on January 14th – 16th at the renovated Lawaqa Park.
