Contestants of the Vodafone Hibiscus Festival are looking forward to the official opening of the festival on Friday.
Miss Carpenters Fiji Limited, Marie Fall says she has learnt a lot of new things while preparing for the event.
“It’s pretty tough ,it’s worth stress ,very tiring but so far I’ve learned to manage my time to be prepared for the unexpected.”
Miss Fiji National University Karishma Devi says she is doing something that she never dreamt of.
“It’s a very challenging time for me because I normally goes to work at 8 and back at 5pm but now that I have accepted this challenge to be part of this Vodafone Hibiscus festival .It is now opening my doors if I am getting out of my comfort zone, be part of something that is challenging enough.”
A total of 50 contestants are vying for various titles in the festival.
