The Consumer Council of Fiji has called on the Fiji Bus Operators Association to raise more awareness on the use of disposable e-ticketing cards.

Kumar says that this is not only a passenger issue but also the drivers’ issue.
She says that they have also received complaints against bus drivers not having the low denomination cards and tend to only have the $20, $50 and $100 disposal cards.

Kumar adds that this affects everyone who wish to use these cards.
She reiterates that both bus passengers and drivers must play their role to avoid such issues.
