The Construction Industry Council has launched its new logo that will be introduced to its members today.
The new logo is part of a significant effort by the Council to make it relevant to its members.
The Council in its new plans is looking at hosting a major construction industry conference later this year, and the introduction of a fully functional Secretariat.
President, Gordon Jenkins, says they will work with the government to address ongoing critical issues like licensing for all sectors of the industry and will put emphasis on training.
The Council members include major construction enterprises, builders, sub-contractors, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, hardware suppliers, developers, project managers and government representatives.
