Programs and tourism developments in the region will be developed by the South Pacific Tourism Organization and the Pacific Islands Private Sector organization.

A three year partnership agreement was signed between the two parties in Suva yesterday.

PIPSO’s newly elected Board Chairman Howard Politini says the diverse need for skills and related commercial activity will make tourism the economic backbone of the region.

Both the organizations have agreed that in an effort to enhance delivery at a regional and country level, it is critical to align programs and activities.
