The Fiji Commerce Commission has been on there toes to ensure customers enjoy the festive season.

Chief Executive Joel Abraham says the agency has reviewed its strategy to engage better with businesses at this time of the year.

“Previously we use to do 100-200 inspections a month in the last week or so we’ve crossed 700 inspections so that’s a good sign, we are becoming more productive.”

Abraham says with the commission having only 41 staff, they are working on providing the best service to all Fijians.

The Commerce Commission is also working together with private sectors and other relevant agencies to better service delivery in 2017.
