The Land Transport Authority is now calling on the infamous Azonto bus driver – Ritesh Kumar to come forward and explain his actions.
Auhority chief executive – Naisa Tuinaceva says failure to do so could mean the end to his driving career.
According to Tuinaceva – they have received information that Kumar has engaged the services of a lawyer.
-He has not adhered to the first instruction which was for him to come forward and explain himself or show cause. It has become too much of a publicity and I think he has become nervous. So in this case, we have given him 14 days to come to us. If he fails to do so, the authority can decide on his penalty even without his presence._
Kumar has been issued with a 14 day notice to show cause to the authority as to why he was dancing whilst driving a bus.
