Colgate Palmolive today handed over $5000 cheque to the Cancer Society.

This is in line with their effort to help and reach out to those cancer patients who need financial assistance.

Colgate Palmolive general manager Hiten Lal says the money can also be used to provide services to those who come to the Cancer Society for assistance.

“Most of us probably have been through or know someone in your family, community or somewhere is fighting cancer. Obviously it is a tough time and there is a lot of support required then.”

Lal says this is the 11th year of their partnership with the society and they plan to further enhance this.

Lal has also stressed that early detection can save a lot of lives.
