54 year old Pastor Jone Cokanauto has been granted bail by the Suva High Court but with strict conditions, however he is still remanded for another case in the Nasinu Magistrates court.
Cokanauto is charged with one count of rape and two counts of indecent assault which happened in 2006.
The complainant who was in court today says she has refrained from attending church gathering and has no contact with members.
Judge Temo told a packed courtroom, he does not want to see any of the church members hassle the complainant or stop her in the street.
He adds, if anyone makes any kind of remarks to her, Cokanauto will be brought back and remanded.
Cokanauto was ordered to surrender his passport to the court, which he did.
He has been told he can travel out of Viti Levu but he has to report to any nearest police station on Mondays and Thursdays.
