October 31, 2018 6:21 pm

Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji Limited launched a new bottle line at their manufacturing facility in Suva which is the first in the country.

While launching the Krones Blow-fill technology, Group Managing Director, Alison Watkins says the new line has the capability of producing twenty-one thousand bottles per hour, which triples the production of the previous bottling line.

“It replaces equipment that is 32 year old. It’s a step forward also for the environment and I’m very proud of that, lower energy, low water, and more efficient on PET use per container and the ability to light weight bottle for the first time. It’s an absolute way forward for us in production.”
