Climate Change information sharing vital

Better management and sharing of information by stakeholders can lead to better address and mitigation of climate change.

Director Climate Change in Foreign Affairs ministry Peter Emberson highlighted this during a workshop on Data Sharing and Information Management Practises.

Emberson says the main focus of the workshop is to find alternatives on how climate change can better be addressed.

“Discuss ways that we can better manage and share information so that we can come together to discuss how these interconnected information can build upon a bigger and more holistic picture on how the impacts on climate change can better addressed or mitigated.”

Emberson adds that the presence of various ministries, NGO’s and private sectors in the workshop will help in the dissemination of information.
