He says they’re now receiving calls from the banks and other lenders regarding defaults of payment.

According to Mohammed that if the process drags on for more than a month, then they might be forced to stop operations.

He says at the moment they’re doing all they can to continue providing services.

Classic Buses currently services 90% of the Western Division.

Majority of bus companies in the Western Division have been calling for a fare increase as there has been none in the past 10 years.

They’ve claim that operation costs have gone up and they’re struggling to cope.

Meanwhile, the Bus Fare Review Committee Chair, Joel Abraham says the report is expected to be handed to the Land Transport Authority.

The review was conducted utilizing financial data provided by 32 bus operators and views of thousands of Fijian commuters.
