Fiji’s second largest producer of pearls, Civa Fiji Pearls has opened a new retail outlet for their Fiji Pearls produced in Taveuni.

The new boutique will add to Civa Fiji Pearls on-island presence alongside the existing pearl farm, and Taveuni resort partners stocking Civa Fiji Pearls.

A minimum of 50% of the pearls will now be reserved for local sales.

Managing Director Claude Michel Prevost says they have seen an increase in local demand, so it was a natural progression for them to open another outlet.

Civa Fiji Pearls was founded in 2007 and has been harvesting and exporting since 2010.

The new boutique is located at Matei on the island of Taveuni.
