A family in Milverton Road in Suva is counting their lucky stars after a bus rolled into their compound last night.

Citiline buses which services the Raiwaqa 7 route rolled into a compound while repairing a mechanical fault along Milverton Road.

Speaking to FBC News Nardip Kumar- the owner of the house says they’re lucky no lives were lost during the incident.

He says they believe the bus experienced a mechanical problem while on its last trip servicing the area.

It’s understood that while technicians were repairing the bus, it started rolling, hit Kumar’s parked car on the road and crashed into his compound damaging a fence.

No one was injured.

Citiline buses declined to comment.
