The Construction Industry Council Trade Show began at the Warwick Fiji Resort yesterday.
Speaking at the event Trade Minister, Faiyaz Koya said the construction sector plays a crucial role in the nation’s progress by building quality structures and at the same time providing employment to Fijians.
Koya says the Council is doing just that by building a modernized and digitized economy, creating jobs and generating economic growth.
He reminded those taking part in the Trade Show that their role is extremely important as they will be able to provide Council members updated information on the latest products available in the market.
Eighteen exhibitors are part of the two day trade show with three overseas companies while the rest are local companies.
